ABOUT ADAPTRIX

Behind ADAPTRIX is me, Lars Köppel – a musician myself and very familiar with the small challenges on stage and in the studio.

It's not uncommon to need to replace microphone clips or tablet holders. It's precisely in such moments that a small but surprisingly persistent problem arises:

Stuck threaded adapters.

Often you can't use your fingers anymore, a normal screwdriver doesn't fit – and so you start improvising with coins, pliers or your keyring.

Over the years, this recurring problem has increasingly bothered me. I searched for a long time for a simple and practical solution, but found nothing that was truly designed for it.

This is precisely how the idea arose to develop our own handy tool designed specifically for this purpose. After months of work – from the initial sketch to the prototype – these products, and thus ADAPTRIX, have now been created.
